Location of Classes
All classes are held at the Faculty of Extension, University of Alberta, in Enterprise Square (10230 Jasper Avenue). We are located in the heart of downtown and just a few blocks west of Edmonton’s Arts District.
Site of the historic downtown Bay building, Enterprise Square became Extension’s home in 2007. The building, which started as a freestanding sale shop built by the Hudson Bay Company in 1894, went through a major overhaul to make it suitable to its new mission. Many historic features were respected, including the recovered original flooring (Italian terrazzo on the main floor and concourse) and its generous floor-to-ceiling wall height.
Access is easy by public transport, car, or bike. We are linked to the Bay/Enterprise Square LRT station with a pedway connecting right to the classrooms. Several parking options and bike racks are available within a two block radius.
